What do I need to do to attend the Training?
Have Laptop or another device with a webcam available.
Stable internet connection.
Credit card to pay for the Training.
The latest update on the internet browser.
Check settings, and make sure the video or chat function is not blocked. Depending on the browser you are using the process to adapt the settings is different. Check out how to activate the camera/microphone on Chrome and Microsoft Edge: (any other browser google, how to activate the video and microphone function of the corresponding browser)
Chrome
Open Chrome
Go to a site that wants to use your microphone and camera.
When prompted, choose Allow or Block.
Allowed sites: Sites can start to record when you're on the site. If you're using a different Chrome tab or a different app, a site can't start recording.
Blocked sites: Some sites won't work if you block them. For example, you won't be able to join a video call.
Change a site's camera & microphone permissions
Open Chrome.
At the top right, click More Settings.
Click Privacy and security > Site settings > Camera or Microphone.
Select the option you want as your default setting.
Review your blocked and allowed sites.
To remove an existing exception or permission: To the right of the site, click Delete
To allow a site that you already blocked: Under "Not allowed", select the site's name and change the camera or microphone permission to "Allow".
Microsoft Edge
How to control which apps can use the camera
Do one of the following:
In Windows 10, go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Camera.
In Windows 11, go to Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Camera.
In Windows 10, ensure that Camera access for this device, Allow apps to access your camera, and the individual toggle for the Microsoft Store app you wish to use is turned on. If you do not see the app or website you're looking for in the list, it's likely a desktop app. Desktop apps cannot be individually toggled, but access for those apps can be controlled using Allow desktop apps to access your camera.
In Windows 11, ensure that Camera access, Let apps access your camera, and the individual toggle for the Microsoft Store app you wish to use is turned on. If you do not see the app or website you're looking for in the list, it's likely a desktop app. Desktop apps cannot be individually toggled, but access for those apps can be controlled using Let desktop apps access your camera.
For more info about controlling camera access on your device, see Manage app permissions for your camera in Windows.

Also check if firewall blocks the video or chat function. Firewalls are designed to protect you and your computer. Therefore, it is always a risk by deactivating the firewall, but it might help that the Video-Session is working. In the case you deactivate the firewall, it is at your own risk. In that case make sure to activate the firewall again after the Training. Anyway, in the case the firewall blocks the service we recommend contacting us, that we can find a solution together. Security is important to us, so we recommend not to shut down the firewall at any moment.

To prevent this issue:
Make sure that you update your internet browser to its latest version.
If possible, use Google Chrome (other browsers also work, but our best experience has been with Google Chrome)
Allow access to video and microphone in the settings. Make sure the firewall is not blocking the video or chat function.
